iPad revision

1. Second generation came with increased speed.
2. Multitasking now enabled and incredibly helpful.
3. AGPS chip works OK on wifi version and performs equally to the 3G version if it is tethered to a phone.
4. While the SD card would be nice it is not an absolute deal breaker. Having owned an iPad now I realize you do not need that much capacity.
5. With coming changes to iOS I think the utility of a USB port will be diminished as well.
6. Over the air sync with desktop coming
7. Price is actually not that much from the real contenders and software makes up for the small difference.
8. Cameras on the device are so helpful that I do not think the device coils do without them.
10. No flash but still able to get a lot of video through apps and html5 enabled web pages.

Ipad

Top ten reasons I would not get an Ipad.

1. First generation, likely to come down in price or increased specs
2. No multitasking, Really?
3. No GPS
4. No SD card slot, it's already around 800 dollars do I have to pay extra for an SD card attachment that is going to add bulk and more crap to carry around
5. No USB port, see above.
6. No over the air sync with desktop, more of a itunes issue but nevertheless.
7. Expensive, honestly you have to get the 3g version and 16GB is out of the question so you are looking at above 730 at least. There are some tablets coming out at around 300.
8. No front camera, you need a camera for conferencing
9. No back camera, what about taking pictures?
10. No flash, greatest multimedia device can't go to HULU, or ABC and watch some shows??? sounds like a strech to me.

All that being said it looks really cool and I will definitely wait for the second version before reconsidering to buy one.
